This motto from the world of sports is something that John Keeley follows as he strives to devise winning retirement strategies for his clients.

Starting as an Annuity, Life, Disability, and Long Term Care insurance agent representing several world-class carriers, John expanded his practice becoming an Investment Advisor Representative with Virtue Capital Management.

“While defense and risk management are crucial, I’ve always been looking for ways to offer my clients a strategy that is designed to have low risk and low volatility yet with the goal of providing solid returns over time (5, 10, 15 plus years) as an attractive alternative to the “buy and hold” mentality and “just take your lumps” investing that has been prevalent. John is originally from nearby Roanoke, Virginia, and has one daughter. As the middle of 15 siblings, he learned to be an empathetic listener which now affords him a greater insight into the aspirations and concerns of couples and individuals in the midst of their retirement income planning.

John is a graduate of the University of Virginia. He enjoys reading, staying abreast of world affairs, and multiple sporting activities. John is active in his church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Cosmopolitan Club.
